Welcome to The RIYC

The Roanoke Island Yacht Club (RIYC) was originally started in 1982. As members sailed away in the early 90s the club lost its steam and went dormant. In early 2024 a new wave of sailors re-kindled that flame and brought the club back to life! By September of that year, they formed a board and re-established the yacht club.

Sailboats, Powerboats, crew with out boats are all welcome! We host monthly club sails, club races, land based gatherings and community focused events.
