Holiday Flotilla Art Show
We will be hosting a one-day art show inside Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse downtown Manteo to display the entries from this years Holiday Flotilla Art Contest. The Holiday Flotilla Committee will be announcing the winners at 3pm. Some of the artists will be selling their work- a percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Roanoke Island Yacht Club that will go back into community events like this one. Spread the word. We hope to see you there!

Halloween Race
In the wake of the ASSA cup, I think we all have a fever to do more racing, so therefore RIYC is hosting our first annual Halloween Costume Race, sponsored by Outer Banks Distilling! October 27th (weather permitting) meeting at 1:00 at red marker 40 for a 1:30 start. The course will be a triangle between red 40, red 36, and a drop mark to be placed based on wind conditions. The start line will also be determined based on wind. Prizes are donated by Outer Banks Distilling. Wear your best costumes, as the prizes will also include a bottle for best dressed crew.
